As a former Director of HR at Kuehne + Nagel North America, Gerd Reinecke is familiar with the challenges of the logistics market. After graduating with a Masters degree in Economics from the Universities of Goettingen and Hamburg, he learnt the “people business” from scratch, starting at Kuehne + Nagel’s main branch in Bremen as their Manager Training and Development, eventually taking responsibility to build up the North American Organization in Toronto and New York.
Having experienced difficulties in finding qualified personnel for an international logistics provider, Gerd Reinecke decided after returning to Europe in 1983 that he wanted to help other companies find the right people at the right time, and therefore incorporated REINECKE & ASSOCIATES in New York and Hamburg.
For leisure and recreation, Gerd Reinecke enjoys visiting art galleries and antique fairs, and most evenings can be found jogging around the Alster lake.
