As a former Director of HR at Kuehne + Nagel North America, Gerd Reinecke is familiar with the challenges of the logistics market. After graduating with a Masters degree in Economics from the Universities of Goettingen and Hamburg, he learnt the “people business” from scratch, starting at Kuehne + Nagel’s main branch in Bremen as their Manager Training and Development, eventually taking responsibility to build up the North American Organization in Toronto and New York.
Having experienced difficulties in finding qualified personnel for an international logistics provider, Gerd Reinecke decided after returning to Europe in 1983 that he wanted to help other companies find the right people at the right time, and therefore incorporated REINECKE&ASSOCIATES in New York and Hamburg.
For leisure and recreation, Gerd Reinecke enjoys visiting art galleries and antique fairs, and most evenings can be found jogging around the Alster lake.
Carsten Siebe is an intimate adept of the European logistics market. He graduated German Foreign Trade and Commerce Academy (DAV) in Bremen and worked successfully in senior management positions of European logistics networks over the last 20 years. As managing director of EURODIS GmbH he built up a European distribution network from 2008 to 2014 by incorporating leading European players such as UK Mail, Post NL and SDA (Poste Italiane). Before joining REINECKE&ASSOCIATES, he was Director European Network at Hermes Europe, a company of Otto Group Hamburg.
He successfully built performance teams at several stages of his career, staffed management positions and developed talents. He built sustainable international business relations across the industry. His management experience and his clear and holistic overview of the European market make him an appreciated interlocutor for the industry. He is an integral part of the European CEP and postal community, a trusted partner.
Carsten is a passionate cyclist, enjoys sailing and is interested in financial markets as well as design.
